I'm a thirty-something aspiring author and wife. That's me over there. :points: Er, anyway, I was born in Tehran, Iran, and grew up outside of Baltimore. I've also lived in Utah and Massachusetts. I moved to Virginia in 2007 and met my husband in 2008. We were married in September 2009. I worked outside the home until 2010, and now I'm a domestic engineer. Among other things I enjoy finding a bargain, taking care of my husband and our adorably wee home, and our cats Charlie, Quincy, Isabel & Mia. I occupy most of my days with reading, writing my fourth novel while revising my previous work. I've been writing since I was a child, but this is the first time I'm writing with the hopes of publication.
Other than writing and reading, I'm a comedy nerd, love documentaries, cooking and wasting time on Twitter & Tumblr.
The Blog
I've been blogging here at The Bodacious Pen since March 2010. Don't let that fool you-I've been blogging since 2000. I've blogged all over, Livejournal, Wordpress, and now I'm back here at Blogger. I blog mostly about what I'm reading, and what I'm writing. You'll find young adult books fill up most of my bookshelf, but I'm also a huge romance fan.
