This week I'm participating in TGIF, hosted by GReads!
This week's question:
When You're Not Reading: What occupies your time
when your nose isn't stuck in a book?
Well, my first answer is obvious: I write!
I don't set time limits for my writing, I set chapter goals. Lately, I'm just revising. My CP finished reading the second draft of my novel, now my husband is reading it. I'm going behind him and reading each chapter out loud TWICE (yes, it takes forever, but it is worth it) and making edits.
I coupon. I'm not extreme or anything, but I really enjoy saving money and stretching our grocery budget. In order to save, it does takes hours a week. I get coupons from both my mother and mother-in law, and it does take AGES to sort them. I plan out my list, set a budget, then check my favorite sites like Totally Target & The Krazy Coupon Lady to grab the best deals. I've saved hundreds of dollars this year!

I herd cats. I have four, and the kitty you see is Mia, in her glamour shot that I fell in love with on my local shelter's website. She is both an utter joy, and and an utter terror because she's two, and LOVES to play and thinks everything in the house is hers to play with.

I talked about what I've had to sacrifice to go after my dream of becoming a writer.
I shared one of my favorite Lady Antebellum songs on Tune in Tuesday.
I asked for Christmas novel suggestions.

Congratulations on the writing! I'm sure it'll turn out great. Hopefully, I can finally finish this story I'm working on...
ReplyDeleteAnd I personally think it's awesome that you collect coupons! It always helps to save even just a bit of money :)
